Why the Catholic Church's approval instead of the KJV Bible, but out of the NIV?
To the best of my knowledge, approval remains in the Catholic Standard Edition Revised and New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition. In addition, lack the imprimatur (the best of my knowledge) of the Revised Standard and New Revised Standard Version.
